This year the country has seen all kinds of crazy weather.  Some of it has also been really scary…..like the ice storm that hit Maine last December and caused a five day power outage.  Temperature of houses dropped to near freezing after one night.  But the temperature of one particular house dropped by only 2 degrees daily, with no supplemental heat.  While families scrambled to hook up generators and space heaters to keep the pipes freezing, this family knew their house wouldn’t freeze.  HOW?   Read on to find out how this family dealt when the power went out:  Extended Power Outage Tests High-Performance House
